Functions of Chairman of a trust
Functions of Chairman:
To preside over the meetings of the organisation.
To sign every document of the trust.
To meet and motivate the rich class of society for financial assistance.
To set up guidelines and suggest remedial measures and to act as an authoritative signature of the bank accounts of the trust.
To cancel basic membership rights of any member other than the office bearer if any member violates the rules and regulations of the trust.
To accept or reject the application form of any person applying for the basic membership.
To purchase or sell any material which the trust needs, with the consent of trustees.
To organise meetings and annual day along with the trustees of trust.
Functions of Vice Chairman:
To undertake functions of chairman , in chairman's absence.
Functions of General Secretary:
He will call and schedule the meetings of the Managing body and will inform every member of the body about the schedule.
To maintain the minutes of every meeting of the managing body and to maintain the records of all incoming and outgoing communications of the trust.
To maintain records of the stocks and to prepare the annual budgets, expenditures etc and inform the managing body of all the information.
Any activities of the trust will be published by the consent of the secretary.
Functions of the Treasurer:
To maintain daybook of the cash transactions of the trust.
To maintain the register of all employees/ office bearers and to keep their record maintained in all respects.
To maintain the record register of receiving donations in cash or any other source and to keep record of disbursement of funds in cash or otherwise.
AMENDMENT:
If deemed necessary by the trustees any kind of amendment , required to be done shall be made by chairperson with the consensus of the trustees and the amendment so effected shall be deemed to be the amendment without changing/ modifying the objectives of instrument of trust. However, prior approval of the founder is required to be obtained for making such amendment.
The original Trust Deed shall remain in the custody of the managing trustee.
The executants have set their hands /affixed their signatures to this document in the presence of witnesses on the day and date written above and hereby accept the trust and clothe themselves within the right liabilities and duties of trustees.
